Spijker Malbec 2022 1000ml bottled in the 1980sSpijker is named after the stoetbul (stud bull) of the late iconic South African wine celebrity Francis Duimpie Bayly. Duimpie, whose favorite hobby was cattle breeding. His favourite grape variety was Malbec, so it seemed natural to honour his legacy by using it as the driving force behind Spijker. The grapes are sourced from different regions in the Cape Winelands, resulting in a wine of tremendous complexity. On the nose, the Spijker Malbec boasts
